Estate Sales

The Graves Sisters can plan, prepare and conduct a successful, profitable Estate Sale for you. We will make every effort to fairly assess value by using all resources available to us including antique and collectible price guides, internet searches, personal knowledge of the market and independent appraisers. Our service entails the following activities:

Inventory large items such as furniture, appliances, automobile, clothing
Sort, identify and organize items according to perceived value
Price and tag items
Arrange and display contents
Photograph items to be used in internet marketing
Broker furniture, books, art, various collections, and other appropriate items to individuals, dealers, E-bay sales, etc. on an on-going basis leading up to the actual estate sale
Arrange advertising via local media, internet and email
Conduct a two day estate sale on the premises
Post professional signage at nearby intersections and in front of the property (as allowed)
Furnish friendly and knowledgeable team members to greet buyers, answer questions and provide security as well as crowd control during the sale
Identify unsold items for charity donations
Arrange for delivery/pick-up of donated items
Acquire receipts for donations
Remove materials for landfill or recycling
Arrange total clean-out of the premises

The sale will be advertised in local newspapers, email announcements to our contact list, and an on-line estate sale listing website. On the day of the sale, we will post professional signage at nearby intersections and in front of the property (as allowed.) The Graves Sisters’ friendly and knowledgeable team members will be available during the sale to answer questions and provide security and crowd control.

We suggest that you dispose all food, canned goods, old toiletry items like shampoo and half open bottles of household cleaning products. Hold on to perfume bottles, old toys, clothes, photos, etc. People collect a lot of things these days and sometimes these items can be sold.
